Setting out in our trusty camper van named MoonBat, we headed south from Sydney to beautiful Jervis Bay where we spent a long Easter weekend. Whilst a lot of jumping was done we also found time to explore the national parks, discover some idilic white sand beaches, BBQ overlooking the bay and make a few friends. This is an absolutely stunning part of New South Wales, we had an incredible time and more photos along with travelling tales can be found on the Australia page of this site... please have a read!

Mardi Gras Parade, Sydney

March 2013

Mardi Gras Parade in Sydney was an incredible experience. One of the largest gay, lesbian, transexual & transgender celebrations in the world, Sydney's Mardi Gras comes to an end with a massive parade down Darlinghurst's Oxford Street. A colourful explosion of the weird & wonderful, the parade is watched by 80,000 people & it was an amazing event to see.

Unfortunately we can't take credit for this video. It was stolen from, shot and edited by a friend we shared the experience with and shows the silliness, face paints, crowds, excitement and a little of the parade. The majority of the jumping was done dancing from Kings Cross to Oxford Street as well as a lot of hopping to see the parade over the crowds!
